Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method


8 ounces tenderloin, beef -- tips
1/2 onion -- diced small
1/2 carrot -- diced small
1 potato -- diced small
1 cup mushrooms -- sliced
1/2 red pepper -- diced
2 cups water
1 tablespoon beef base
1 cup burgundy wine
1 teaspoon garlic -- chopped
1 teaspoon french thyme

In a hot pan add oil and beef and cook till brown. Then add diced
vegetables and garlic, let cook until vegetables are soft.

Add wine and let reduce.

Then mix hot water with beef base and add to the pan, let simmer one
minute.

Thicken with speed ball till desired thickness.

Simmer five minutes and season with salt and pepper.
