Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
12 ounces already cooked duck -- pulled
3 tablespoons salad oil
1/2 onion -- diced
2 red apples -- diced
3 celery ribs -- diced
2 cups mushrooms -- sliced
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 tablespoon fresh sage -- chopped
8 ounces port wine
4 ounces apple schnapps
2 1/2 ounces powderd demi glaze, or 2 cups of beef gravy
1 sheet puff pastry
In a large hot pot add the oil, then add the onions, celery, mushrooms,
cranberries and apples.
When onions are cooked clear the add the schnapps and port wine.
Then add the water and bring to a simmer.
Fold in the powdered demi glaze or beef gravy.
Place mixture into a baking dish and top with the pastry dough and put
into a oven at 350 till browned.
